Which type of prosthesis is right for me?
The right option depends on how many teeth are missing, the health of the remaining teeth and gums, and your preferences. Complete dentures replace all the teeth in a jaw; precision attachment dentures and clasp dentures replace some teeth and are held by the remaining ones; digital dentures are designed and produced digitally for a precise fit. Fixed options include bridges and implant-supported teeth.
How dentures are made
- Examination: We check your mouth, gums and remaining teeth and discuss the options.
- Measurements: Impressions or digital scans are taken and the bite is recorded.
- Try-in: You try a wax or digital model to check the look, fit and bite before the final denture is made.
- Fitting: The finished denture is fitted and adjusted.
- Follow-up: Small adjustments are made in the first weeks for comfort.

Our clinic is in the centre of Kyrenia (Girne), at Ataker İş Hanı on Dr. Salih Miroğlu Street. Patients living in the south of Cyprus usually reach us through one of the Nicosia crossing points, so consultations and short appointments can often be done as day trips. Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to get used to new dentures?
Most people need a few weeks to get used to speaking and eating with new dentures. Small adjustments in the first weeks are normal.
Removable dentures or implants?
Removable dentures are a cost-effective option. If they feel loose, implant-supported solutions such as All-on-Four give fixed teeth that do not move.
How do I clean my dentures?
Take them out and clean them daily with a soft brush and a denture cleaner, not regular toothpaste, and rinse your mouth and gums too.
How long do dentures last?
Dentures wear over time and the gums and bone change shape, so they usually need relining or replacing after some years.
Can I sleep with my dentures?
It is usually recommended to remove them at night to let the gums rest, unless your dentist advises otherwise.
